I just found it to be pretty lackluster. It's Such a Beautiful Day ****ing rules though.

Wow that is high praise indeed.

EDIT - title track is really good. I'm glad I avoided everything that was released before I had a chance to listen to the album in full.

Yeah, I agree that it's on par with the Berlin albums.
I hope people won't crucify me for this, but I might even enjoy it a little more. While I do really like the instrumentals from that era, the division of vocal tracks and instrumental tracks on Low and Heroes weakened them as albums.

I saw bits of it last night, it's a bit weird. Same as the second one.

Loving the album more and more.
It's a solid 4.5 with me now, steadily going towards 5.

My CD came today. Strong album, will wait a week before voting. The last track is one of the best tbh surprised people aren't rating it.

Well **** guys. The album takes on a whole new meaning lyrically when you realise it's about his cancer/death.

"I've got scars that can't be seen"
"Something happened on the day he died"
"Look up here I'm in heaven"
"I'll be free. Just like that Bluebird"
"Where the **** did monday go?"
"The clinic called. The x-ray's fine"
"It’s all gone wrong but on and on. The bitter nerve ends never end. I'm falling down"
"I know something is very wrong
The pulse returns the prodigal sons
The blackout hearts, the flowered news
With skull designs upon my shoes"
