I think the more popular you become, the more hate comes into play. It's like how small breweries are so beloved, but when they start to grow out more people start to chime in about how they don't like the beer, even though it's the exact same beer as before. Another example is that Budweiser is loved and hated by many, I'd say hated more than anything else, but the **** really isn't that bad. I've had micro brewed adjuct lagers that had significantly better ratings and tasted worse.

Edit: No, general consensus is that Kanye is very talented and good. He's mocked for his ego.

It's both. He's mocked for his ego and for making shit music. Plenty of people who think his music is terrible especially outside of Hip-Hop circles.

I think he's a 7/10 artist.

This album has the relevancy of a dumpster fire. Especially with his weak ass political commentary. He's no longer edgy and has gone full retard on this one.
