I guess Rage Against the Machine is even more corporate than Oomph if we are judging based on merchandise

Rage Against the Machine RATM Merchandise, t-shirts, tees, tee shirts, posters, patches, stickers, memorabilia, RAGE
Rage Against the Machine Merchandise
MAM Store Merchandising - Official Band T-Shirts And Merchandise.

And this is in German charts is it not? Germany doesn't have giant corporate music markets like we do (not as big that is), in the US almost no one has heard of them.

You're confusing being recognised with being corporate, they aren't one in the same.
They've broken into it a dozen times and in more than just Germany. Why are you trying to downplay it by saying "only a few times" if its nothing to be ashamed of? As for Germany not having a corporate chart system lets view one of their top songs from 2007.

YouTube - Stefanie Heinzmann - My Man Is A Mean Man - Videoclip

Doesn't sound much different from the stuff we have playing over here does it?

Do you really need to suck your own cock on an internet forum for self-esteem? Is there something wrong with straight forward, objective debate? Oh no wait, that would require intelligence and critical thought...that would be too hard when instead you can gang up and just declare yourselves the winners.

Get over yourself...

How about this, name a band that isn't a corporate sell out and doesn't suck.

Ahh abuse , the sign when someone has run out of valid points to make.
Anymore of this & you're gone for a week.

I believe Germany is the biggest country they have influence in, lesser countries don't really mean as much (regarding thier marketability)

Thier market is no where near as corporate and commercial and large as ours is. EVEN in Germany they aren't 'huge', they're a band that is pretty popular amung the metal/hard rock types. It doesn't mean they are a corporate band or that they comprimise thier music for money...

Oh no, Crass mechandise!!!

Crass t-shirts and hoodies|Crass merchandise at Rerock4ever
Crass Merchandise
RerockGear - Crass t-shirts & merchandise. Rock Concert t-shirts, hoodies, skirts, dresses

Yep, they are corporate sell outs....

Look at this, they are clearly selling out to the teen angst, anarchist crowd, so generic

Tatoo?!?!

Well, since merchandise clearly indicates corporate sell out, Crass is out and we still have no answer to 'Is there a band that isn't a corporate sell out and makes talented music?'.

Crass split up a long time ago , Almost anyone can get merchandising rights for bands that have long since split up. The money goes to the license holder , not the band.

Because they are selling an image, that underground punk/anarchist image, people are spending money to get thier tatoo so gee, must be (no more or less than someone getting 'OOMPH' across thier rear window is)
