I don't think his wattage is that great.

Charlie Watts does present a cool posture on stage. He makes it all look so easy and relaxed.
Almost the total opposite with the flamboyant style and stage presence of Keith Moon.

He looks relaxed because someone else is really playing drums backstage.

I think you are thinking of Paul McCartney playing drums backstage because he wanted to recreate live what he did in the studio - overdub himself playing drums over Ringo's drumming.

I think Beatles win in a landslide. Way better quality and quantity of excellence

Somewhere else on this forum I posted this "comparison," but it really should have gone here, on ppg. 65-66 or so. I won't bother naming the contest or declaring my winner. But as I said in the other post, I'm fairly convinced McCartney was imitating the BB song, which had come out about a month before McCartney wrote HTAE.

I gotta go with the Beach boys. Better singers and better harmonies.

harmonies, well probably group harmonies yes, but stuff like Because is magnificent. And better singers...Brian and Carl are great but as solo singers I prefer John and Paul over Mike. And Carl and Brian were more limited than Paul and John. But of course Beach Boys' group harmonies were best ones on the earth.

But I still would not say Beach Boys had better singers when it comes to individuals. Or to be more specific, Brian and Carl might have beat John and Paul in one category, but J&P were more capaple for example singing straight rock n roll while still able to master heavenly ballads. And one must not forget George. Or Dennis. But they weren't technically extraordinarily good anyway. Great still.
