Default Rebecca Black

Rebecca Black is an up-and-coming dance-pop megastar. Her first single, "Friday" has recently released to massive popular appeal and critical acclaim. Take a gander:

That was awful. I want my 3 minutes and 47 seconds back. Critically acclaimed for what? Worse lyrics than Ke$ha?

While her lyrics may seem trivial at first listen, only once you've given them time to sink in will they reveal their brilliance. They present an unadulterated peeping hole into the complexities and mysteries of American teenage life as no lyrics before them have. Perhaps, if I were to so boldly suggest, if you think the lyrics are "worse than kesha" you simply do not "get" it. But I think it would take a particularly thick-skulled individual for that to be the case as Rebecca Black has the lyrical efficacy to sing about eating cereal. How could you not observe her lyrical proficiency when just about every person in America can relate to eating cereal? Surely it must be the fault of your New Zealand-er-ness.

At the end of the day, "Friday" is an American pop masterpiece and I eagerly anticipate more gems from the artist.

I was just about to post this. I mean it HAS to be a joke or a parody or something. No one goes out of their way to make a song sound like this. The rap verse has zero rhymes for god's sake.

R-B, Rebecca Black
So chillin’ in the front seat (In the front seat)
In the back seat (In the back seat)
I’m drivin’, cruisin’ (Yeah, yeah)
Fast lanes, switchin’ lanes
Wit’ a car up on my side (Woo!)
(C’mon) Passin’ by is a school bus in front of me
Makes tick tock, tick tock, wanna scream
Check my time, it’s Friday, it’s a weekend
We gonna have fun, c’mon, c’mon, y’all
