Default How big is yours?

.... NOT THAT!

How big is your music collection? How many GBs on your computer? How many physical albums? records? cassettes?

I've currently only got about 40 GBs of music. Relatively small comparing to in the past before I lost all of my music. And certainly small compared to some of you I'm sure.

Perhaps this thread is not appropriate for this section.. IDK. Just thought it was interesting to know how much everyone has.

I am sure we already have a thread on this but I can't find it (maybe it was the same discussion within another thread?) so I will just post in here anyway.

232 CD's
44 Vinyl's
338 GB's of music on hard drive

I've gotten rid of a lot of CDs over the passed 4-5 years. If I kept them all I'd have upwards of about 400. Now I have maybe 100-150. Only a few vinyls, nothing to play them with anymore. And about 40GB of music on my computer. It's pretty much out of space, otherwise I'd have more.

Wow. So much music. I'd likely have around 100GB of music if I didn't lose so much stuff a while back that I've yet to recover, but holy cow!! 300+GB? That's a lot of music.

Of that music you guys have how much would you say you listen to fairly regularly? Because I know with a relatively small collection I only listen to a portion of it regularly.

Wow. That's insane! I'm more of an albums type of guy; I listen to an entire album at once, and rarely put my music on shuffle so I guess owning that amount of music would be hard for me.

I probably have about 20 CDs, 200-250 LPs, at least 150 7" singles; I used to have about 50 cassettes tucked away (they're left at my dad's house though). My old computer had a few GB of music stored on it but I haven't bothered with my new one (there's grooveshark, last.fm, youtube...)

Wish I had more records. You can never have enough vinyl.

Wow feel free to ship some of the vinyl my way! Haha.

Seriously, that's really cool. Would love to sit back and listen to your collection for a couple days.

I was too lazy to type up my collection again. I'm pretty sure I posted mines in this thread awhile ago. It is still around the same range.
