Abe Froman
 

Abe Froman was a pop punk band that formed in 1999, Lansing, Michigan. They were made up of Erin Tobey(guitar), Ryan Batkie(bass), Matt Tobey(Drums, yes Erin's brother) and vocals being a collective effort from all of them. Release they are consist of a self-tilted demo tape [self Released, Summer 1999], Baltimore Is Scum 7" [Self Released, May 2000], Self-Titled LP [(Vinyl:Self Released, November 2001), (CD: Plan-It-X Records, May 2002)], Abe Froman/Soophie Nun Squad Split [(Vinyl: Harlan Records, April 2003), (CD: Plan It X Records, November 2003)], Plan-it-X Fest 2004 DVD [Plan-it-X Records, June 2005] and All the Days Are Numbered So compilation [Harlan Records, March 2006] Their last show was at the tenth anniversary of Plan-It-X Fest. All 3 members went on to be have their own solo projects: Babes in the Woods, Matty Pop Chart and Erin Tobey. Other bands they went on to be in are Canine Sugar(Matt:drums), Hissyfit (Ryan), Pink Razors(Erin) and Mt. Gigantic(Erin and Matt). Abe Froman is Ferris Buller reference.



They're really fun and I recommend Baltimore is Scumb. They don't have a myspace. The junk that pops up when you do a search isn't them.
