Fear's Bass Player Dead at 58 From Liver Failure (go figure)

Fear was a pretty big influence on me when i was younger....and like many **** faced punks in the mid 90's i spent quite a bit of time tracking down a 14 generation vhs copy of 'Decline of The Western Civilization' and watched it till the tape broke.....and for a while there my friends and i could reenact the entire Fear set....

The Daily Swarm - RIP Derf Scratch, Original Fear Bassist...

just thought a little bit of an ode was in order

i seriously hope his epitaph reads "Eat My Fuck."

i actually watched 'Decline' last night after reading about this....what a horribly good movie....Fear really was distinctive out of all the stuff coming out at that time....and The Record still gets play on my turn table/ipod thing

anybody ever see the infamous SNL show?

John Joseph (Cro-Mags) talks about the show....in the description there is a link to the actual show which NBC blocks (link seems to be blocked)

I haven't listened to Fear in many years but they ruled. That song about NY and saxophones was always my favourite, from The Record (one of the best punk albums in my opinion). RIP.
