Those bands are gonna get way more hipster cool points. And Crass is on a way higher level for sure but it seems unfair to even compare. Joan Jett's a cool hard rock popstar/ rockstar. With one really REALLY catchy song everyone likes.

You're a peach. Nothing wrong with noticing someone's appearance. But if that's all you value them for and expect that attractiveness is all they can contribute to the world, you have a skewed set of sensibilities. The same can be said for placing a high value on people who look one certain way, rather than valuing diversity in appearance.
