And I brought up D4 because they're still pretty influential on today's pop punk bands too. You make a good point though.

I'd have to go with Green Day on this one.

I worked with a dude who had a huge resentment against Blink182 and that has kind of stuck with me.

Probably Green Day, since I kind of grew up with them because of my brother. It is close though, especially since my mom is a Blink 182 fan haha.

I mean no offense to anyone but neither band represents the true punk mentality or music for that matter. Both bands make some cool tunes but are products of the mainstream music industry which is definitely not punk. Again, I don't mean to offend.
