Came to this thread for the only purpose of find the person that would make the mistake of listing any Green Day album as a top ten Punk album. I wanted to laugh. Screw you all for having good taste.
...I don't have a list, sadly. But I approve of all the ones here so far. Carry on. |

I've never given much time to classics, so my top 10 lists across most genres always seem to be missing a lot of givens (in this case hey EPOCH6 where's the Bad Brains, Black Flag, Misfits, Adolescents etc). I've got a nasty thing for White Lung and it's likely clouding my judgement in the face of the obvious giants of punk, so no it's probably not universal top 10 material at all, but personally I loved it. If you enjoy their past work you'll enjoy the new LP, it's pretty much another improvement upon their already established sound, maybe a bit more visceral.

Is it awful to say I'm surprised to see the Adolescents mentioned a couple times?
Don't get me wrong, it's a good album. Rick Agnew's guitar playing is awesome and fits in surprisingly well during his stay with Christian Death. But top 10?
