^ Tony Maimone's bass playing kills on Dub Housing. A near-tie between The Modern Dance and Dub Housing for me, but the haunting soundscapes of Dub edge out Modern's more structured collection of songs (albeit great ones). I've loved Ubu since first purchasing Terminal Tower shortly after its release.

Père Ubu and his "cabinet".

Can't remember if it was the "Worlds In Collision" tour or the Pixies tour later that year,
but the A&R woman for the label couldn't find anyone at any of the record stores willing
to hang out with - much less, even know who David Thomas was - until she got to me,
"HELL YES!" We ended up going to a Thai restaurant in town before the show and had a
blast together. Do you like your Tao Hoo Song Kreung with some dry humor?

Amazing anecdote, rostasi! Am I extremely envious? -- HELL YES!
