music is subjective, just when people say stuff and I can clearly see that they dont have a clue, i say they are ignorant.
I got all three Carters, 500 Dagreez, The Leak, Dedication 2, Da Drought 3, My Face Can't Be Felt, and The Drought is over 3. I certainly hope you're not talking to me.

Please DJ, loving lil wayne is an all too common opinion.

This guy came with the soul intention of defending lil wayne from any criticism. Its obvious he's the only close minded person.

I like Lil Wayne, but saying he isn't a pop artist isn't an opinion, its just wrong

No, loving lil wayne is a common opinion outside of MB but as far as most MB members are concerned he's clearly overrated. Look at the poll up there.

It says he features in the Jennifer Lopez video, I can't see him and isn't the man supposed to be in jail.

I like the new (old) song

Lil Wayne – Young Money f. Gudda Gudda | 2dopeboyz

Mostly just because I'm a slave to repetitive horn beats with a snare sample right before the beat drops again.

Pretty bad for Wayne though "people like me, but like people spiders, but spiders eat flys, and you know what fly's eat"

uh..okay?

No, I don't actually.

He puts in the work and deserves all the credit/dick ridding that he gets.

Sure his lyrics/lines aren't always on point but what he does it's similar to throwing many darts at a dartboard. Sure, not all of them are going to be bullseye but they might be close to it and then some will just be completely off and not even hit the target board ie. the line matious chose to pick out of the song when he did have some hot lines in that song.

I have heard so many people say that wayne is the best, if you don't think he's overrated that must mean you agree with them. I'm not arguing that the dude has talent and that he puts his work in, all I'm saying is that there are plenty of artists out there that have much more stable discographies. If he was truly great he would be more consistent. Yes, he shines sometimes, but other times his material is trash. Remember his little guitar playing stint? I'm pretty sure that the general population of MB says that he is overrated not because we're all haters (even though myself and others have been giving tunechi a hard time), but because we have enough knowledge of music (or slightly more than your average listener) to look at things objectively and realize that yes Lil Wayne is talented, but there are many more artists who are clearly above his level. You can say that he is your favorite, just don't say that he lives up to the hype.

What kind of logic are you using there guy? I said that he's middle of the road okay basically saying some of the things that you say in your post but you go from well if I don't think he's overrated then I MUST THINK HE'S THE BEST? are you listening to yourself? logic fallacy going on here.

No where in my post did I state that Lil Wayne was my favorite or that he was so talented he should be recognized at a higher level than other artists that are more consistent than he is.
