yeah I have to take it back,, he's a good PRODUCER. but he's a horrible rapper (Check da Cosmic Slop Shop) and just isn't a cool dude :P

I don't see why Dangermouse wouldn't make the cut, he's pretty involved when it comes to producing in hip hop.. Dangerdoom, The Grey Album, Demon Days.. etc. Not to mention some of the stuff he's done outside the genre.

I was pretty surprised to see him listed as producer for Attack & Release by The Black Keys.

Hah, that was actually what I had in mind.
I know some people were disappointed with Attack & Release, but I really like the direction he took it in. Bit of a stretch for the band but I think it still turned out to be a pretty decent album.
