Not so much in the violent aspect lately, so some of these may not be what I most listen to now, but in any case:

(sorry, you can't argue with 1 and 2)

4. Big Pun (mostly on this list for Capital Punishment)
(sorry you can't argue with 3 and 4)
5. Styles P (mostly for Gangster and a Gentleman)

7. 50 Cent (mostly for Get Rich or Die Tryin')

9.Young Jeezy (mostly for The Recession)

Well i'm not sure which list to post so i'm posting three top 10's. The first is the top 10 rappers who i think influenced rap or helped move it forward and helped it to evolve in some sort of awesome way. The second list is who i think the 10 best rappers are and the final list is my favourite 10 rappers.

Top 10 rappers of all time I dont really like saying whos number 1 and whos number 10 so basically they're just in a rough order.

lol like i said feel free to hate. And obviously rakim and N.W.A influenced rap and helped it evolve but in my opinion they didn't do as much as the other 10 i posted. Originally rakim was in there as was N.W.A but i changed it round for public enemy and will smith. Personally although N.W.A and Rakim (with help from eric b) did a lot for rap and the hiphop culture they would probably be 11th and 12th on my list.

I'd personally say that Rakim would rank above the following in your list in terms of influence in Hip Hop:

Public Enemy
The Beastie Boys
Will Smith

and maybe Run DMC.

That's in terms of influence on the music itself, as opposed to its mainstream success.
