Good choice. I prefer Madvillainy, but Mouse and the Mask is a strong second as far as Doom material goes.

Wait, why don't you guys like "The Eminem Show"? I always thought that was a fairly solid Eminem album.

Same here! It does have great production, and Doom's rhymes are on point, but I do prefer Madvillainy now, for about the same reasons but magnified (more better production, more on point Doom). It's a little edgier as well, but Mouse and the Mask is a lot of fun.

Yeah, some great tracks on it. I prefer the previous two (MM/SS LP) as they were more conceptually driven, or at least somewhat darker and probably when Eminem was at his best lyrically.

lol that was the album that made me stop listening to Eminem. I thought it was poor at the time. The singles were crap too. He had already done the wacky, silly, poke fun at celebrities thing twice before with his previous two albums and Cleanin' out my Closet was cringe inducing.

I loved his first two albums at the time though. These days I can't really listen to them. I don't think the production has aged well at all and a lot of the material sounds kinda childish.
