I remember my uncle brought me a sticky fingaz record when i was just 9 or 10

I couldn't really appreciate it too much at the time, but wow i'm surprised to see him mentioned again. I didn't even know he still makes music

I don't know if he does still make music, this record is about 10 years old. First time I heard of him was on Remember Me? on The Marshall Mathers LP.

Then a friend recommended this album and I thought it was great. Definitely recommend it if you haven't heard it. It's basically 'Kirk Jones' trying to stay on the straight and narrow after coming out of jail, then it goes tits up. It's clever and the concept is executed very well.

I think Kendrick's storytelling ability is top-notch on GKMC at the very least. The dude can definitely create a narrative with the beat as the natural foundation.

He's a good story teller, but his stories are boring as fuck on that album.

Yeah but in todays Hip-hop you dont really get any concept albums any more but thats not the reason I like it.His last album Section.80 had a way better concept than GKMC but I prefer GKMC overall.

Tyler the Creator put out two concept albums as well, Goblin having a more solid idea, but he's caught nothing but flack recently.
