Which is the best Gangstarr album? People seem to be picking others but I was recommended Moment of Truth.

So what would everyone's second favorite Nas album be? For me, I really like I Am and Stillmatic.

It Was Written definitely. That is a very strong and overlooked album.

Stillmatic is great, I was listening to it the other day and forgot how good it was. This is my favourite track from it:

Life is Good is right up there too, I can't believe it was getting reviews like this:

Illmatic by a distance. Some of his other work is decent though.

Illmatic is your second favourite Nas album?

What's your first?

It Was Written has a lot of his better verses on it, a couple of personal recommendations would be Take It In Blood and The Message.

Moment of Truth is the most accessible, Daily Operation is the most funky, but Hard to Earn is the best.

1.Illmatic
2.It Was Written
3. Distant Relatives with Damian Marley
4. I Am...
5. Untitled album.

That's for me, Hip Hop is Dead is good, but suffers from being too long.
Life Is Good was unfairly slammed, but in my Top 15 of this year.
Stillmatic is over-rated on this forum.
Need to hear Street Disciple again to get a better impression of it.

The over-rated one is my favourite.
