Joyner Lucas is confident in naming his "favorite rapper."
Recently, Eminem's Kamikaze was certified platinum, proving that not even the digital age can stifle his momentum. And while Em has no shortage of platinum plaques decorating his walls, for Joyner Lucas, the milestone is a new experience. The "I Love" rapper recently tweeted out his gratitude for Marshall Mathers, after landing his first ever platinum plaque for their work on "Lucky You."

"Who would of knew My first platinum plaque would ironically come from my favorite rappers album?" writes Joyner, via Twitter. "@Eminem thank u." With "Lucky You" in the bag, let's see if their upcoming collaboration can follow suit; Joyner has already teased an Em feature on ADHD, which is said to follow in the footsteps of "Stan."

When it comes to GOAT discourse, Eminem's name is not always respected accordingly; some feel compelled to give him his props reluctantly neglecting to note his various contributions to the game. We've seen Em vent his frustrations on songs like "Fall," so its good to see new generation voices like Joyner Lucas put some respect on the legend's name.

Got into an argument with a friend over the word "n*gger."

I saw a video on Facebook of a white dude and a black dude arguing. The white guy was in his car, in the drivers seat. The black guy was outside shouting at him. The white guy rolled up his window to end the argument and the black dude kicked the window in, sending shattered glass into the face of the white guy, then proceeded to assault him. Then the white guy called him a n*gger.

I said that if a dude kicks in your window and assults you, you're well within your right to call him any damn thing you want to. My friend called me a racist.

He told me I need to listen to Joyner Lucas' song "I'm Not Racist." I told him that he needs to watch the music video for his song "Ross Capicchioni," where a black guy lures a white guy into an abandoned lot and shoots him with a shotgun as a gang innitiation.

He told me that black people don't do that; that only white supremacists do things like that. He watched the first half of the video, then refused to watch the rest, saying that it was bias against blacks and only represented a skewed view of the story, which was a true story.

Gee I wonder why he would say that.

So if someone assaults you, they don't have a verbal barrage coming their way, which may include racial slurs? I guess it would be better to just shoot them? I'd rather be called a n*gger than get shot.

If someone assaults me, I'm well within my right to call them whatever the f*ck I want.

If that's your go to then that's a 95% chance of you being racist.
