If you can have Nelly in your top 5, I suppose he can have Riff Raff

1. Jay-Z

2. Redman

3. Pharoahe Monch

4. Chino XL

5. Pimp C

Honorable Mentions: Too Short, Nas, Andre 3k, El-P, Pac, Big, Big L, Ice Cube, Bun B, Ras Kass, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Q-Tip

Chino XL? I don't even know any songs by him but I'll check his albums out now. A couple in the BX discord thought Nelly top 5 is wild too. I just went off of how well and close I was to their albums for my top 5. I had a Top 50 playlist for Biggie but after a while I just felt like Nelly gotta be in there.

I can't argue against your personal nostalgia. But if any objective list of top 5 rappers is possible, putting Nelly in there is kinda crazy, but that's just my personal opinion. He's got some great singles, but top 5? Nah. Just my opinion though.

As for Chino XL, peep his entire debut first - probably his best effort. But his follow-up and his double-album is great too. He's a ****ing hell of a rapper.

From his second album:
