This is coming from a fan of Ska, Honestly there is no real point to write off an entire genre, the more important part is the music and the artist in question. The genre if you really think about it is just a way to distinguish and catalog music and the artist known for dabbling in that genre. Any genre can be "good" or "bad" it just depends if the music is well put together and the artist has a lot of talent or puts tons of energy into it. So really anyone that says an entire genre is bad is limiting their musical experience, but hey that is their decision really.
