I think you like Pink Floyd if I'm not mistaken? then try Easy Star All Stars Dub Side Of The Moon and the newly released Dubber side Of The Moon which both have instrumentals on them as well as vocal tracks and are a decent segue way into Reggae.

For instrumentals in general you are generally looking at Dub. Some Dub is highly removed from it's original Reggae track (Dub versions were like the remix of their day and used as B sides or extended mixes of singles) or there are dedicated Dub artists out there who rarely use existing material (Scientist, Mad Professor etc)

Yeah, I'll agree with JH, in that dub is going to provide you with most of the instrumental reggae to be had. If it's to your tastes (it's not to everyone's), there's a lot of really great instrumental 1st wave ska out there like The Skatalites and some of Don Drummond's earlier stuff. I've recommended it in other threads recently, but a great instrumental dub album is Augustus Pablo's King Tubby Meets the Rockers Uptown. Ernest Ranglin's Below the Bassline is a fairly reputable attempt at fusing reggae and jazz, but I personally think it sounds like someone made a sterile sounding smooth jazz album of reggae covers. The Charlie Hunter Quartet took Bob Marley's Natty Dread album and swung the whole thing out as a jazz piece. It's pretty damn amazing, if you get an itch to check out a jazz interpretation of a classic roots reggae album.

I'm not strictly instumental.
I do like Pink Floyd, so i'll be checking those out JH.
I would like to get some more reggae with vocals. I don't have much, other than a couple of Bob Marley songs. I just don't like the type of vocals that Buffalo Soldier or Time by Pink Floyd have, with the background female choir thing. I just like straigt up, good easy to listen to vocals. I'll be sure to give those you mentioned Satch.

There's this Dutch Reggae band from Haarlem called "the Upsessions".
Rather Brilliant imho, you might want to check out my favourite song:
YouTube - The Upsessions - Dorothee Blackswan
Like this? Try their album "Beat you reggae".

Anyone got any recommendations for an intro into Ska. The only experience I've had with Ska is 'Sublime' and I'm not even sure if that counts as Ska.

If it's nitty gritty, bare bones first wave ska you're interested in, full-length albums aren't really the done thing with it. Best to hunt down some compilations, like these two;
