hendrix - a genius

i also like syd barrets guitar playing, its not impressive technically but its full of passion - especially on his solo albums

I think Zakk Wylde deserves a mention, even though he's a moron, he can still play damn well. Get Soil- Halo live at Ozzfest 2002 feat. Zakk Wylde, the solo will blow you away.

Hes damn good, very skilled, but i dont really dig his style at all(i liked the no more tears solo and thats about it), he overuses Pinch Harmonics and his tone leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.
