Flea and Les are technically brilliant, but some of their music is dire. For me the best bassest has to combine technical skill with flare and good songs.

1) Cliff Burton
2) Tom Araya
3) Simen (Dimmu Borgir)
4) Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse)
5) Geezer Butler
