Maybe you wouldn't, but a lot of people would. I also view them as one of those bands as nearly impossible to hate since they have few edgy qualities...

Put it this way, I don't really care for Weezer, but if they came on the radio and I didn't have my iPod on me, I would keep them on. But I wouldn't go out of my way to get their stuff.

Valid point. I'll delete them from my original post? I still stand by the rest. But to be honest, most aren't because of the music, it's just the image/personality of the members that I don't like.

The point that I was making, was your attitude towards their personalities and image (your words) and not towards their music.

As for the music of these bands, well with the exception of the Stone Temple Pilots who I love, I think most of those bands are terrible.

Yeah I take back that statement. They all suck terribly, image wise and musically. Where is the talent? I'm not saying that their music should be complex, but bands like those are a dime a dozen. What impact did any of those bands make on anything? Their songs got in a couple video games, and are on the radio. If all of the lead singers rotated through the list, the bands will still sound the same.

I`ll admit those bands are a dime a dozen and I can see why a lot of people wouldn`t like Stone Temple Pilots. Personally, I love the voice of Scott Weiland, as he sounds at times like Jim Morrison.
