This decade is definitely one of my favorites as well. Mastodon, Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, LCD Soundsystem, and whatnot.

I'm gonna say 60s and 90s. The latter part of the 60s and the earlier part of the 90s.

In the 70s and 80s there isn't as much going on that I really am drawn to. But since I'm just a beginner, perhaps that'll change!

It's the twenty tens now, was the twenty hundreds in the last decade. And some of my favourite 'rock' is probably from the last decade, though not the hyped stuff.
