Maybe i amn't clear on this but aren't you meant to post your own opinions
Can i not just post one without being slagged in some way
Plus what exactly is wrong with a fan boy/girl
i never came across this saying till i joined this
I suppose if i have to be a fan girl for anyone they might as well be as good as SOAD

You'll love every minute of it and if you listen deep into their music you can find meaningful music you just need to try to understand it
Like to me Lonely Day is a meaningful song in the non political sense and Soldier Side is meaningful in the political sense
It is just that I usually find their lyrics too comical to see any deep meaning to them, it is not like I don't see any meaning to the other bands I listen too. I actually found Arials pretty deep. I heard good things about Hypnotize so I am not that worried about it.

Ummm... BYOB is more mainstream/popular than Chop Suey right now.

Haha, I remember I've always listened to heavier music, and my friends saw a SOAD cd in my case (Toxicity I think it was). One of them ignorantly said "How can you listen to that screaming sh1t." Mesmerize comes out, and my friends all like SOAD now. They've actually listened to Toxicity now and they like it.

It kinda shows you how ignorant people are of heavier music, and how much conformity sucks. Next step... get them into Opeth
