for once i am gunna have to agree with the unfan here, the nimrod cd was actually really good, i liked international super hits a little more though

According to my tutor, he did. A lot of people did, I recall someone telling me Kirk Hammet also learnt from Satriani.

I used to want to be just like him when i was 12 for like two years..... but I still like gerard way more he's my idol my only idol... my parentsw suck at being role models.....

I heard Greenday's latest single last night, "Working Class Hero". I must say, it's a real departure from the pop-punk that they built their career on previously - and even back then, the "punk" label was still a little iffy. I wasn't a fan of American Idiot, but at least it had a little punk anger to it, you know? Working Class Hero is just sort of...boring. =(

Its also probably one of the worst covers I've ever heard.
