The 5 sound like a band that was thrown together by some record executive who was looking to make a fast buck. No substance man no substance. For all those Maroon 5 fans out there this is just my 60s were the best era of music opinion rearing it's tie dye head here..........

Maroon 5 is one of the those bands where when you think they're irrelevant, they bounce back with a great song. After their songs from their debut album peaked on the radio, they weren't around for over 2 years until "Makes Me Wonder" became a hit in the spring of 2007. After their second album played out, they were gone for about 2 years again until "Misery" come along. Their success has been much more consistent since.

Yeah, probably because they're just catering to the top 40 crowd by now. I mean, I dig "Moves Like Jagger" a lot, but generally the vocalist's autotuned-to-hell-voice is disgusting to listen to.

It's cool, because they're one of the few pop bands today that still incorporates rock elements. It sucks that they're going more pop with songs like Payphone, though,

Harder to breath was the song that hit me too. Nice choice.

I really enjoyed their earlier stuff, now it seems a bit like they just follow whatever's 'in' on the radio. But a good band regardless, certainly very versatile!
