Otep would be your first good bet but I gotta assume you're familiar.

Here's something

Thanks for recommending Otep! I wasn't familiar with that band. I listened to their song Apex predator! Just like what I needed. . Seductive and sadistic vocals. What's the singing style in which the line goes, "she's so coy"

Suggest me some more.

Oh man I can't believe you haven't heard of Otep, they're just one of those bands everyone has heard of haha. I'm not super into them but mad respect. Really dig 'The Ascension' album, might wanna give that a try.

Looking for good hard rock/heavy metal albums similar to anywhere from "War Is The Answer" by FFDP to "...And Justice For All" by Metallica. Both are amazing albums but looking to expnd my album collection.

I do not hear Krokus mentioned too much. I thought the album, "One Vice At A Time" just as good as anything else hard-rockish put out at the time (early 80's). There are some pretty good riffs on there.

HEY! Not sure if this is the right thread but can anyone suggest any bands with female singers that are like Queens of the Stone Age or muse? I love that Falsetto that Homme and Bellamy do and the desert rock (almost blues) sound of Qotsa and them Crooked Vultures. Being a female singer and **** I don't really draw heaps of inspiration from female singers in this genre cause most of the gals have that... heaps growly sound. Is there anyone you know who has a female front man but doesn't have that harsh voice? THANKS! xx

Queens of the Stone age are bloody brilliant, Josh Homme is a ridiculous writer, and Well... Them Crooked Vultures is pretty much Queens of the stone age with Dave Grohl again, just heaps sick tunes. Qotsa's new album is ridiculous! And Era Vulgaris, super seedy tunes but crazy good ahaaah

THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTIONS!
