pro tip for your future on music forums...

don't assume everyone already on the boards is like the rest of the people you went to high school with.

Uhm...? I didn't. I was writing for whoever wanted to read it. If you didn't want to read it then don't read it... :P

grunge is dead. i dont get what possible relevance "grunge culture" could have in 2009. nobody's trying to "be grunge" anymore. your crappy movement died in the early 90s. get over it for goodness sake.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who likes being able to read what the hell someones saying. I mean I use a lot of slang but at least I can put it in sentences properly.

Grunge was awesome but then it became mainstream which is what ruined it. I'd rather much prefer to hear that today than what is getting put out now.

I think we all go through a grunge phase at some point, I know I did. Grunge was the coolest ever for a while, then I kind of just grew out of it. I rarely listen to my grunge albums now. However there are a few classic albums I spin more than others.

If that's the case then I still haven't gone through my grunge phase. I thought it was lame when it was new and still think so today.

I can see myself fighting over the radio with some other old guy in the nursing home because I want to hear some STP.

You never know what could happen as a senile old man. I wouldn't rule anything out yet.
