Well, Hvis Lyset Tar Oss has grown on me a lot. The last track fits in surprisingly well.

Give this a watch if you can find it. A very well and thoughtfully made about Black Metal in the 90's with many insightful interviews with Varg etc. Far from being a bunch of kids with no morals, many of them come across as erudite, educated people. Worth a watch.

Got into Burzum over the summer, great stuff. The self titled and Filosofem albums are my favorite and out of the dark ambient albums i'd pick Hliðskjálf. Still haven't heard Belus yet but i've been sorta putting it off since I heard it isn't that great vocally. I've also read a lot of the stuff Varg wrote when he was in prison for Burzum's website, very insightful stuff, he's a smart guy.

Random bump, but I've been listening to alot of Burzum (again) recently, since I found his new album in my local music shop really. I adore this man's music, Filosofem is, and probably always will be, one of my top 10 metal albums of all time.

His newest album I wasnt too sure about before I got it. I'd heard a few songs from the leak, and wasnt really into them at all. But listening to the album in full, it just works. They all flow nicely together and I'd put this as his best work since Filosofem (although its only really fair to compare it to Belus, rather than the two synthesised albums).

That documentary sucks IMO.

Once Upon A Time In Norway was 20 times better.
