I'm no way a fan of A7X but it's sad to see him die.

A7X's new album sucked, which he just happened to do a lot more vocals on, but He was a good drummer no doubt, rip.

Why post anything negative at all in this thread? Save it for the A7X thread, no need to bash, the kid is dead your opinions on the bands music is irrelevant.

Me and all of my friends were just sooo heart broken when we heard the news last Monday. This band is one of those bands that brought me and most of the people I've met in my life together and became friends. This is a terrible loss and my heart is with the guys and their families!

Afterlife was an ironic song, considering what is was written about and that it was written by him. Apparently though, they did finish writing the new album with the rev, so we can all enjoy one cd more of original work with Jimmy.

Avenged Sevenfold has been one of my favourite bands for years and I was very saddened when I heard this news a few weeks ago and it makes me feel very lucky to have seen them live in 08 but sad that it'll never be the same 5 guys on stage again.

M Shadows gave us an update saying that they have to finish the album that Jimmy wrote to dedicate to him but after that they are unsure.

Being an inspiring drummer, it was really hard for me when he died. My favorite modern drummer by far, favorite band also. Love you Rev RIP.
