It's all the cheesy I can take, I don't need any more.

Ratt isn't so bad. Everyone likes to make fun of certain genres, like hair metal and disco, but they're actually pretty fun. In the end, if you critically examine something close enough, you'll find flaws. The same holds true for every genre of music, as well as every band. So listen to the bands you like and stop acting like you're all superior because you listen to something you consider intellectual/exclusive.

I was legitimately surprised that people like Ratt.

Why? They're one of the best hair metal bands.

The only Ratt fan I've met is my father, and that includes friends of mine who like Crüe and the like. Nothing wrong with it, just sir praised as I haven't seen it before and I'm clearly not a fan.

Well, Ratt were one of the best hair metal/glam bands from the 80's. Doesn't bother me if others don't care for them. My time of being really in to that music has passed. I only listen now if I hear it on my Pandora account.

Now you've met two.

Warren DeMartini is a monster and one of my fave players from that era. And the band reveled in the whole 80s hair metal wave with some great songs.

How can you not dig this?

I love this song and video so much. Great memories and better times to be had.

One man's cheese, another man's heroin. Or something like that

I dig Ratt, I just listened to Way Cool, Jr. and Lay it Down again, awesome stuff.

As Ladyislingering posted that Ratt song is one of the best hair metal tracks ever put out, it's so friggin addictive.
