They do usually, but we're typically at the bottom end of large tours like an after thought even though we are a ****ing cash cow in terms of ticket sales. Anyway, Illinois and Indiana are mid-western states. Completely different culture compared to the NE. Outside of the big cities like Chicago, St. Louis, or Indianapolis you either find cornfields or suburbs. Much slower paced way of living compared to out east. I'd say eastern Pennsylvania to NY would be the hub of the NE USA.

Didn`t know that, but as a European I find the USA, its history and the concept of its states most interesting.

Interesting thing pointed out by a comedian about the US, and I actually think it holds true. The more rectangular the shape of a state is, the more boring it is. Notice how the Great Plains states in the west are almost all rectangles.

Yes Indiana is far from being the hustle-and-bustle place that NE is, but it has a very strange mix. I live in Hamilton county, a highly populated and fairly well-off suburbia above Indianapolis. Bunch of rich people here, preppy kids and whatnot, yet some cities even within the county have kids driving tractors to school. One moment you're in a giant strip mall, the next moment you have corn on either side of you

Rumor has it that In Flames is being replaced by some terrible two-piece band called the Athiarchists or something...great

Oh, nevermind. It isn't a rumor. It's a fact. The website has them not only replacing In Flames, but they are HEADLINING THE REVOLVER STAGE. WTF?!?!?!?!?!

Actually, from their Wikipedia page, The Athiarchists sound kind of amusing. I may have to give them a listen.

Mayhem Fest kicked ass! I was so ****ed up during the first half of the show though cause I had a steel reserve 40 while tailgatting, and then ****ed my elbow up in a pit, but it was worth it. Trivium bore the hell out of me to the point where I almost fell asleep, but Megadeth, Godsmack, and Disturbed totally made up for that, and I was goin nuts while those bands played! Overall, I had a good ass time, def one of the best shows I've ever been to, and I got to see Disturbed in one of their last shows, so it was so worth it! I got laid later on too, after I left as well, so yeah, I had a fun ass time! XD
