Cannibal Corpse. Deicide are fun for two albums and then they get less fun. Cannibal Corpse manage to be fun for thirty years.

I love how this song is corny and cliched in all the ways that power metal is corny and cliched but still isn't power metal. The Varangian Way is definitely destined to be a forgotten nerd metal masterpiece album.

Given the disgustingly high ratio of perfect-tier songs Bolt Thrower put out it can be hard making that call but my two favorite children are the first Bolt Thrower song I ever heard

For Victory is a Bolt Thrower album I haven't listened to much and while I don't think the songwriting is as memorable as their best albums, **** dude they are still just as lit as ever and actually step the intensity up a notch from The IVth Crusade. Even slight disappointment is forgotten after a short minute cause you're too busy banging your head to care. And this track is as immense as anything else they've ever recorded.
