Even if I hated Slipknot I would have a difficult time saying Corey Taylor has no talent.

Corey has an awful voice... So he's talented?

Haha.

you're just not listening intently enough

there's a lot of interesting things going on in Disturbed, at least in 10,000 Fists

Slipknot's rhythms are closer to "industrial"

Nobody's going to confuse Jordi with a great drummer. Slipknot's got three guys playing percussion and they've yet to put out a drum track that doesn't suck.

They bang on beer kegs with a bat I think that reason enough to be called industrial.

"industrial" originally were meant for "Banging on metal trashcans with a bat"

Lol, there's a lot of derivative ****ty lyrics and general style of the music.

I can hear everything you can, you just happen to have an appreciation for nu metal, and I definitely do not.

I definitely do not like nu metal, but Slipknot doesn't deserve to be in this thread (neither does Lamb of God or Fear Factory). Jumping to these bands indicates to me there wasn't a lot of thought put into it.

I would nominate Dragonforce, Powerglove, Horse the Band, Enter Shikari, Attack Attack, Asking Alexandria, Emmure, Chelsea Grin, Atreyu, hed(PE), Six Feet Under, Battlecross, Cradle of Filth, Limp Bizkit, Black Veil Brides, Nightwish, Kamelot, the list goes on...(and all of these bands are easily much worse than the aforementioned three)
