are you paying attention?

most of this thread have been about Slipknot.....

Marilyn Manson is not really "metal" more like goth-glam and I hate him

Rammstein only got embarassing after "Mutter"

Dude, I don't really give two ****s about Lamb of God these days, but they haven't made the same album over and over again. Maybe their latest output has been samey, but I wouldn't know since I haven't listened to anything they've done since Sacrament.

vs.

Resolution and Wrath sound identical to one another. ATPB is still probably their best

Nah. New American Gospel is the best thing they've done by a mile. That album does things with extreme metal that blow my mind.

Not even sure how LOG got introduced to this thread. They are far removed from the nu metal being discussed. Their new album is atrocious, it is so generic and lifeless i searched the liner notes to make sure it was the same band.

I liked Randy's bark a lot more pre-Wrath, however, some of the best drumming moments occur in Sacrament. I also like the production on ATPB the best. It is raw without being lo-fi, sort of like the production on the newest Goatwhore release.

Personally, I don't think they should be here. I think they are a good band to recommend to introduce a newbie to metal. That person could just work their way backward through LoG releases.
