What? I'm talking about their first few releases like Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets. Death Magnetic was released in 2008 so I don't know why you're referring to it as old.

There really isn't anything after Death Magnetic, except an EP with unreleased tracks from that album.

I was kidding, teasing, and maybe joking...

I was suggesting that St. Anger, being older than Death Magnetic, might have been what you meant...in another dimension, like the Twilight Zone, or something. As in I was joking. Joking, you know, a simple witticism.

I supposed the little icon of the pink face sticking its tongue out in response to your quote in reply to another poster... Well, here's what I meant:

Hell yea! Ride the Lightning and Master tied for first.
That restores some of my faith in humanity...

My personal rankings

1. Ride The Lightning (9/10)
2. And Justice For All (8.5/10)
3. Metallica (8/10)
4. Master of Puppets (7.8/10)
5. Kill 'em All (7.5/10)
6. Load (6.8/10)
7. Death Magnetic (6.5/10)
8. ReLoad (6/10)
9. St. Anger (4.7/10)

People often bitch about me putting Black Album above Master of Puppets. I'm just trying to be completely honest about my levels of enjoyment. I feel MoP is a bit overrated. It has a few great songs but also a few boring ones. The three albums ranked above it are more consistent in their greatness.

Ride the Lightning, mostly because it has plenty of songs of which I enjoy fairly a lot.

In second would be Master of Puppets and lastly St. Anger, just because of the album title's song.

My apologies for being too cryptically humorous.

Glad to see that Ride the Lightning is beating out Master of Puppets. Love Master... but I think Ride... is the better album.
