Gee whiz, no Neil Diamond!?!?!?! That means I'll have to go with Tom Petty.

Billy Joel, without a second thought.

It seems a kind of random list to choose from. Are they Necromancer`s personal favourites or something? I think we should be told.

I`d go for Steve Miller, who has a string of clean, cool and catchy hits under his belt.

What is it with Springsteen? For about a year I thought he was fabulous, then I suddenly got really bored with him. Anybody else had a reaction like that?

Poor chap.

Anyway I went with Bryan Adams. I enjoy his albums Heartbreaker and Gold.

The only two artists up there I've ever bothered listening to are Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, and I definitely don't like Bruce Springsteen.

I guess you could say they are personal favorites, I do enjoy listening to all of them. But the main reason for this post is to see if any of these artist would be able to beat out Bruce Springsteen in the poll.

Steve Miller will be touring in concert this year with Journey, it might be the last time we'll be able to catch him in concert. Miller is a good choice Lisnaholic, two of my favorite singles by Steve Miller is, In The Winter Time and Wild Mountain Honey.

Thanks everyone for participating in the poll survey. I'm actually a little surprised by the results so far.

I'll be seeing SM with J, and also Tower Of Power.

I'm just going to see Tower and Schon though. I absolutely love Schons work. He had some very tasty solos on the early Journey albums. Steve Miller will be cool too, but hopefully they keep Abra Cadabra out of the setlist.

As for your poll, I went with Tom Petty. The man is a music machine.

Schons guitar work is very clean sounding and outstanding I agree. A lot of people don't know that Journey was actually formed by former members of Santana. So it's easy to hear the resemblance in style of Neal Schon's in relation to the style of Carlos Santana.

My vote was for Bob Seger, although I enjoy listening to at least a few songs by most all of them. I think most of them basically have the same style voices, of course that is all quite subjective. I didn't really want to add any of the mega artist like David Bowie or Elton John just for example. I've heard Rod Stewart and Neil Young mentioned in some of the prior replies by other members, but I personally just don't think they fit in very well with the above list of artist.
