I've been kinda spamming this band for a while, but they deserve a shout out on this thread regardless. Stampin' Ground are the neanderthal beatdown-hardcore-meets-thrash band that I've been hoping to find ever since failing to find anything that could match up to Arkangel. They're not really that original, but they just do what they do better than pretty much anybody who isn't the aforementioned Arkangel.

Thuggish and brutal, these dudes just make me want to punch some poseur in the face. You want badass riffs? They're your band. A vicious singer spewing rage and hate? Bam. Breakdown porn that doesn't overstay its welcome like Hatebreed or Emmure? Dude, **** yeah. No frills, no post-hardcore artiness, no scene kid choruses, just pure aggression and testosterone. But hey, you could say the same thing about Slayer and Suffocation.

I must admit to being kind of surprised to you of all people being the first convert. Someone who is into arty music wouldn't strike me as the second fan of a band who is so not in any way arty.

I'm into a lot of arty music but I also dig a lot of stuff for stupid people too.

Racetraitor are some delightfully raw metalcore, but really I just want to mention them cause the blog I *legally purchased* their one album from had this as the first two sentences describing the band, and I just think these two sentences are worth mentioning...

Been listening to these grindy and sometimes crusty or skramzy metalcore bands that I've forgotten about for a while and that are infinitely heavier and more brutal and just all around more baddas than Converge.

Unruh might have been the best one



Systral were among the heaviest and metal-est, as well as the band that His Hero is Gone would rip off

The Europeans were so angry and aggressive





Enewetak were decently sweet and slightly sludgy



Acheborn were probably the screamiest
