It's not even so much that it's awful but that it's nothing I would even consider metal...

If you're still taking top tens, then here's mine. Don't know if it's definitive, but I suck at rating the music I listen to, so this is as good as I'm going to do (also why they're in no particular order). I tried to leave off albums I thought you'd heard, hence the lack of Sabbath, Saxon, Slayer, and Maiden.

4. Metallica - Kill 'Em All
5. HammerFall - Renegade
6. Exodus - Bonded by Blood
7. At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul

And yes, after all that soul searching, I still couldn't part with either Bathory album.

haha wow thats pretty crazy actually. either list is fine really as the two off each list are pretty much interchangable anyway.

Your list is good, though yes I have heard Kill 'em All (featured it in last Metal Month) and by the time I get to October I should have the Exodus one up in the 1001 Metal Albums journal. Also, you can only have one artiste for each album, so you're going to have to decide between your Bathorys.

But apart from that, I choose three top tens each year, and I have already chosen, and yours ain't in them. Too slow man, too slow...

Nine, we need to do something about this. After listening to (and admittedly enjoying) your double black metal album, you now present me with ANOTHER double, TWO ****ING HOURS long! I'm thinking of dumping your top ten and going with Batty's, I really am....

Edit: right I've checked and the rest are ok but this is not on. You're going to need to replace this one. I'm not listening to a single track that runs for an hour, then another seven that run for another hour! I'm on a tight schedule here!

Please pick another for your number 8 if you still want me to do your list.
