But stop your research of the genre right there because Entombed is the only good thing that death n roll has to offer.

"black 'n roll" is a way better subgenre that probably doesn't exist. Kverlertak, later Satyricon and Darkthrone, Venom, etc.

actually pretty much just everything on this list

Sidebar: A few years back a bunch of very high profile rock groupies were interviewed about the physical, and performance aspects of major rock stars, and were asked to rate them.

Wanna know where DLR ranked?

Black Sabbath is a rock band.
You mean blues rock, acid, psychedelic, prog., and hard rock right? Because those are all the genres they covered by 1975. I mean, they accommodated blues into rock music better than anybody.

^Probably the best answer for what the band is. Sabbath is a "Rock band" that plays in the style of (what became known as) Heavy Metal or early 70s Hard Rock drawing in influences not only from Acid Rock (hard Psychedelic Rock) - and the other stuff mentioned above - but also Jazz, horror movie soundtracks, and the sounds of heavy metal machinery from factories in Birmingham.
