Anything connected to the sixties works for me, plus Rock Opera, Power Pop, even Pop Punk surprisingly enough.

PS- I noticed the Rolling Stones aren't very well represented on these lists. What gives? Maybe Let It Bleed, Beggars Banquet, and Sticky Fingers should be considered for wildcards?

Cool, I'm thinking we might do Power Pop next, which should make a nice contrast with the genres we've done most recently, but I'll wait a bit to declare it officially.

Sure, we could could put in more Stones albums in future Wild card battles, but I don't want there to be too many of them; maybe two in addition to the one that's already been made. I also think it's best to stick to one album per band for each battle, so we might have to make some priorities regarding those albums

****, until Frown posted in the Annoy Elph thread, I completely forget about this thread. I can't believe, my baby, my beautiful baby, Killing Joke's Night Time is going to be crowned supreme goth rock champion. I can hardly believe it, or contain my excitement!

Oh yeah, I vote to eliminate Chelsea Wolfe. Didn't realize y'all had this much love for the Joke. Or Night Time. I knew there was a reason I stuck around this place.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
