Surprisingly, both Cheap Trick and Badfinger are out, bringing us to the last round of the battle.

Final Round
1. The Replacements - Tim
3. Big Star - #1 Record

Vote 1 off. Deadline: November 29
__________________________

Also, it's getting to be about time to decide what battle to do next, and good to give an early heads up so we can prepare by listening in advance before the battle commences.
This time I've decided to choose three of the remaining battles at random and put it to a vote. The random number generator yielded these genre battles:

1. Alternative Rock
Spoiler for albums:
1. Radiohead - OK Computer
2. Nirvana - In Utero
3. R.E.M. - Automatic for the People
4. The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
5. Weezer - Weezer
6. The Smiths - The Smiths
7. U2 - Achtung Baby
8. Soundgarden - Superunknown
9. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
10. Muse - Origin of Symmetry
2. Industrial Rock
Spoiler for albums:
1. Grotus - Slow Motion Apocalypse
2. Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
3. Skinny Puppy - Too Dark Park
4. Ministry - Land of Rape and Honey
5. Cabaret Voltaire - Red Mecca
6. Chrome - Red Exposure
7. Cop Shoot Cop - Ask Questions Later
8. Einstürzende Neubauten - 1/2 Mensch
9. Foetus - Hole
10. Killing Joke - Pandemonium
3. Post-Grunge
Spoiler for albums:
1. Live - Throwing Copper
2. Stone Temple Pilots - Purple
3. Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters
4. Audioslave - Audioslave
5. Pearl Jam - Ten
6. Creed - Human Clay
7. Days of the New - Days of the New II
8. Breaking Benjamin - Phobia
9. Three Days Grace - One-X
10. Seether - Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces

So if you have a preference, go ahead and vote for the one that interests you the most (this also goes out to those of you not currently participating in the game, provided you would be willing to participate in the battle you're voting for). Or if none of them greatly interests you, feel free to suggest something else. The last thing we want is to announce a battle and have no one participate. That's all for now

The Replacements- Tim

Don't agree with Psy-Fi on the best Power Pop album but I do agree with him on Alternative Rock.

Nope, not this time. Obviously, Nevermind would be the definitive Nirvana album, but I actually like In Utero better, so don't change a thing
