Homegrown is collection of previous unreleased material from the mid 70’s.

With 40 studio albums now it’s pretty likely there’s other NY records you still haven’t gotten around to that are actually worth listening to. That said this album is way better than your typical unreleased material collection. In fact, it’s really ****ing good.

That does sound like Neil Young.

I have to admit I'm guilty of buying boots too. I had quite a few Beatle studio outtakes in the day. Now, of course, you can get just about anything on YouTube.

Like a Hurricane. I just posted it and then I saw this thread. The guitar solo seems somewhat improvised, but it's okay. Overall it's a pretty decent track.
