Joe Pass, Robert Fripp, Fred Frith, Marc Ribot, John Fahey, Sir Richard Bishop, Nels Cline, Zappa, Arto Lindsay, Mary Halvorson, Richard Dawson, Kawabata Makoto, Bill Frisell...shall I go on?
Pass - Jazz, Page is much better than Fripp at leads, Ribot - Jazz, Fahey - Folk + Avant Garde, Bishop and Cline came after Page and didn't play rock, Page is better than Zappa soloing, etc.
What part of genre do you not understand?
And Page had some great finger-style acoustic chops BTW.

Also Page better than Zappa at soloing? Nnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooo. Zappa's not even one of my favourites tbh but he's one of the best soloists ever. Oh, and Bishop has played rock with Sun City Girls.
