You said it was unique. I'm saying its hard to be rote when you're the only one doing something. How many boring 10 second solos are there? I think its 2 steps up from a riff, and one step up from just playing a fill. No?

Haven't heard too many guitar parts that sound like it. Learn how to play it and you'll see how the finger work is kinda different.

True. It's a hell of a lot more unique than your typical riff.

Whether or not the finger work is different doesn't actually make it sound any more appealing to me though.
