I love this freakin' song. The video is totally sick. Bo Diddley stole his trademark hambone beat from Johnny Otis. In the video is Jerome Green on maracas, who went on to become a fixture with Bo Diddley's band. Otis recorded Willie and the Hand Jive in 1954.

Pretty much every thread I create on this forum that noone ever replies to... and even though this is posted in the Rock & Metal forum others replies don't seem to be constricted to that genre so I'll just go ahead with some artists that I love that noone probably knows of (you can follow the links through to the threads if you wanna sample their tunes!)

Matt Corby
Awesome indie/rock/folky singer songwriter who started his days on a popular talent show and then... took his career in a very different direction.

Jungal
Indie/roots band from Australia who actually spend most of their time touring and recording in Canada, for some reason. They are pretty cool and their new stuff shows that they have grown so incredibly much as artists. The original music I posted by them is very dated and amateur, so be sure to check out their new stuff.

Tesseract
British progressive metal band, despite their revolving door of vocalists their new album was ****ing sweet.

Jurojin
Another interesting metal/rock/experimental band from the UK.

I'm glad that someone actually mentioned this band. This song is one of my favorites from them. What's your favorite album from them? It's rare to see other fans.

Jungal is a great band from what I've heard. I'm glad you mentioned them.

Anyway, playing.
I think probably not many people know of His Name Is Alive. They're a pretty well-known band Michigan and they've been around for a while. But my favorite track from them is extremely underrated. It's definitely one of their best.

I love anything from their debut album 'This Crooked Track.' I just think it's so catchy, funky and fun. I am also highly impressed by their various new songs that I've heard live, but they haven't recorded them yet and I'm not sure of their names so I'm patiently awaiting their next album!

Glad you're getting into them!
