Singing while playing is hard. It's a culminitive skill which can only be achieved with practice, much like singing and playing separately to be fair. So..just practice..more..

Every major key isn't a minor key, they just have the same notes in the ditonic scale. Playing a solo in a Am rhythm, then play the exact same solo in C. It'll sound horrible. Same applies vice...

Whatever the hell that is it's likely to be on a single key, and a ditonic one(7 notes). So just play anything that sounds good, you can't go wrong.

Switchfoot is the only 'Christian' band I know. I remember liking one of their songs, about a decade ago. But that's about as much 'Christian' bands I ever heard of.
